We make great, interactive travel guides.
To make our guides we use the content that is freely available. Open content sites like Wikitravel, Wikipedia, World66 and Openstreetmap are among the best resources for any traveler. Our mission is to make that content relevant for you. So we mix and mash and annotate - and we distill great, relevant travel guides out of it.
We like open content. In fact some of us were involved in World66, one of the first open content travel guides on the web. Our travel guides are very much a re-mix of open content out there.

Thorough and interesting and easy to access all the info. Well laid out and designed. Yay.
Perfect app, it only lacks with language (why only in english?)
Offline map and gps work perfectly, plus all the names of places are immediately found and geolocalized by the app research engine. Two crucial features that are making our trip much easier. Thank you!
Some bad moments
Do not plan your trip in Istanbul based on Triposo. Info in this app is not reliable. Even the metro map is very old.
I love this app. I am Turkish/American and have travelled back and forth from Istanbul to the States my whole life. Istanbul is such a HUGE city with so much to do, its hard to decide where to spend limited vacation time..This app let me find new places to explore that I hadnt heard of. A good way to prioritize what to see etc. Love it! Cant wait to take it along on my next trip.
The gps shows you where you are, but that is it. No directions to something. No public transportation maps. Cant look up any address not already in the 30 or so included. Not with the price.
It works offline. Very useful when you dont have Internet connection and quite user friendly.
I really liked this app and am leaving for Istanbul soon. However, you have ruined it. After updating today I can no longer use it in landscape. It is harder to hold and therefore, useless for travel. We travel a lot and I had planned to download more of these. I tried to find a way to contact app developer directly and not give a bad review - no luck. Please fix this and I will give an informative and fair review to the actual content of the app. If it is not fixed, I will not be using it in Istanbul.
Once I downloaded the update to my ipad, I could only use the product with one screen orientation (portrait). It no longer changed orientations when I moved the iPad (even though all my other software did).
